Stream 4 WATER / 36h Livestream Festival for Waterfilters in Uganda

Responding to COVID 19, VcA developed the 36 hours Online Festival Stream4water (S4W) to raise awareness and donations for people in the most vulnerable communities in Uganda, additionally at risk and unable to get safe drinking water due to the lockdown. During April 3rd-5th, VcA mobilized over 70 national and international artists to participate in the S4W, leading to more than 1 000 000 views and 50 000 Euro of donations. Thanks to the donations and cooperation with SPOUTS, a Kampala-based producer of ceramic water filters, VcA was able to install over 3,000 water filters, providing over 15,000 end-users with access to safe drinking water.
