Snow Finch / Women empowerment

The project aims empowerment of refugee women by facilitating harmonization to their new living area, i.e. Zeytinburnu district in İstanbul. The project has three stages. First stage is Turkish language courses to facilitate refugee women's interaction with host community in the district. The next step is training on hygiene, nutrition, gynecology, child development, communication in the family, entrepreneurship and legal rights. The last step is about vocational training on textile sector which is robust economical activity in the district. Shortly, the project prepares women to adapt their new lives in all ways.
