Large wind power generator is expensive in cost for capital investment and maintenance, and some people say that low-frequency noise generated by a windmill is problematic. Tomyo requires no maintenance and generates no driving noise, and further, cost at the same level of power output can be drastically reduced. Different from a windmill having blades causing low-frequency noise, Tomyo is a power generation system utilizing vortex generated from vibration of a circular cone that catches breeze. Increasing the size of this power generation system would enable the natural energy of large output to be supplied to the society in the future.
