Kyrgyz Space Program / STEM training for girls

Kyrgyz Space Program was established in March 2018 by Kloop Media Foundation with the goal of assembling and launching the first satellite of Kyrgyzstan by an all-female team.

Kyrgyz Space Program aims to contribute to the development of science, education and gender equality in Kyrgyzstan and the whole Central Asian region. Besides our goal of assembling and launching the nano-satellite, we conduct two-week basic courses on soldering, 3D-modeling, 3D-printing, and programming, as we want to popularize STEM education among young girls in Kyrgyzstan, where most females are still suffering from gender stereotypes.
