The PS is a social innovation tool that allows families to assess their level of poverty and identify customized strategies to overcome their specific needs. The PS defines poverty by breaking it in six dimensions: income & employment, health & environment, housing & infrastructure, education & culture, organization & participation, and interiority & motivation. These dimension are subdivided in 50 indicators that use simple images and definitions to represent what it means to be extremely poor (red), poor (yellow) and not poor (green) in a specific context. Families take the survey and create a Life Map to work to make all indicators green.
