The Directorate-General for Public Works and Water Management is working hard to reduce noise along the road network. One of the measures is the Modular Acoustic Screens programme. Fabrique has developed a set of “building blocks”, with uprights and panels. By combining a limited number of standardised, industrially optimised elements, screens are created with various forms and acoustic properties. For example, it is possible to change the angle of incline and the surface filling. Fabrique was also responsible for the manual and the website for the complex project.
