CoolKit is a low-cost educational construction toy that allows children from underprivileged families to build cool robotic toys using regular plastic drinking straws. This ingenious innovation helps to close the educational and technology gap between rich and poor families.

This is a fun toy and tool that allows children to experiment with simple kinetic machines. The design allows for a lot of variations and creativity based on simple prefabricated parts that are connected using regular plastic straws. To improve the concept and in light of the plastic pollution already plaguing our planet, the straws could be substituted by spaghetti or another more sustainable material.
