sunflower / Lighting concept


Due to the lack of electricity and educational resources in poor mountainous areas, a large
number of school-age children have to face the dilemma of "study in the dark".
Sunflower has created a bright environment for these children. It can be used as a toy for
children to play with, or as a lighting tool for school-age children. Inspiration comes from
the jumping ring toy that was played as a child. The kinetic energy generated by the children
using the leg strength to shake the jumping ring is converted into electrical energy and stored.
The electrical energy is released by rotating the sun petals for night use.
