Whales are important for maintaining a healthy marine ecosystem. However, whales are prone to straying into fishing nets during their feeding process, which is very dangerous for them because they need to return to the surface every bout of time to breathe. So, if they get tangled in the sea's discarded fishing nets or nets dragged by fishing boats, they may die from lack of oxygen.
Whales Safeguard is mounted on a fishing net and releases sonar that repels whales away from the net, preventing them from entering or becoming entangled in the net.
