St. Louis, Senegal, located at the northwest of Senegal by the mouth of Senegal River, has been home of fishermen for generations. The biggest threat for local fishing industry is from issues relate to sea level rising such as erosion of land formation. Fishermen community have therefore been forced to move inland, as houses had been distorted and fishing boats need to relocate away from shore. Coast Breakwater Community offers an opportunity to counteract the erosion caused by the level sea rising and turn into the foundation of new building system.
