Carrot is a browser extension that helps online grocery shoppers to buy the right amount of food they need in order to prevent over-purchase. Instead of recommending meal plans or fridge storage solutions, Carrot follows what the users’ pre-existing mental model. It understands users' needs with minimal efforts from the user. Based on their needs, Carrot provides suggestions to users if they are over-buying.
