In the event of rescue at sea, time is of the essence. Yet, the traditional helicopter air-sea rescue method is troublesome and slow. This brilliantly simple device, composed of a highly buoyant inflatable platform surrounded by netting for breadth and stability, greatly improves the speed and effectiveness of rescue, saving precious minutes so that survivors can be treated and taken to safety.

This is a wonderful idea with the potential to save many lives.
