Auvis / Digital stethoscope for detecting arthrosis

Auvis is a digital stethoscope that detects sounds from the body's joints. The auscultation of joints aims to identify arthrosis in an earlier stage than possible now. In an advanced stadium, arthrosis causes immobility or pain while moving. Arthrosis is often diagnosed late, most likely, when the patients suffer pain or constrained mobility. Cartilage degeneration - the starting point of arthrosis - generates sounds that can be detected by Auvis' sensors. This feedback is transmitted to and interpreted by the examining doctor. With the help of Auvis, doctors can detect arthrosis early, and medical treatment has better chances to succeed.
