Health Hub / System & interior design

Health Hub
Health Hub

Emergency rooms are working at the breaking point. Often patients who would have been better helped by a GP have to be treated. This misallocation ties up important resources. Overcrowded waiting areas, lack of transparency and connectivity and poor quality of stay put additional pressure on all involved. As an extension of the ER, the Health Hub serves as an initial supply and distribution centre. Here, GP and emergency ambulances work together. A new room structure and a seamless network of digital and analogue information enable a new treatment process in which stress, lack of transparency and long waiting times can be minimised.
