Bagasse is the by-product of the cane sugar industry and in the province of Khuzestan in Iran thousands of tons of surplus of Bagasse is burnt that creates environmental pollution.Given a right process Bagasse can be used as a raw material for the production of chipboard. The concept is presenting a design for the school furniture manufactured from Bagasse based chipboards. In this design the product is delivered in flat packages and will be assembled by the end users. For this purpose, products are assembled via sliding joints that eliminates the need for fasteners and glue.
