TREBODUR - the mabeerial. / Organic material

TREBODUR - the mabeerial.
TREBODUR - the mabeerial.

TREBODUR is solely made from brewers’ spent grains. The contained proteins bind the residue itself into a homogeneous, woody material. It is thus ideally used for short-lived products such as packaging, which can be composted very well, even in home-composts.
The protein in the residues are activated under heat and pressure of a metal-mould to get primarily shaped into solid parts. The material returns to the natural cycle after a defined period of use and supply nutrients to the soil. All products made from TREBODUR contain no additives for material-binding or the like. This ensures that the products have no environmental or health impact.
