This ring was designed for the graduates of Shantou University (STU) and is manufactured by CHJ Jewellery every year. The designers avoided any complicated design language, instead simply extending and rotating the 3 letters STU to form them naturally into a ring. This refined form factor that turns the name of the university into a ring has succeeded in winning over every graduate. The ring is made of silver rather than gold or platinum because of its solidity, simplicity, and low-key aesthetics. This minimum design language and perfect manufacturing have managed to create an object that binds every alumni to their alma mater, STU.
