DC 234 is a 36V high performance battery powered hammer for drilling/chiseling duties in concrete/masonry and drilling in wood/metal. The hammer mechanism provides very high impact energy (2.5 Joule). Lithium ion batteries have the best power/weight ratio and in coaction with the low-loss mechanic design they achieve extremely long runtime. The ActiveVibrationControl effects the lowest values in vibration measurement compared to the competition helping to protect the user’s health (meets new European directive 2002/44/EC describing maximum arm-and-hand vibration). The product ergonomics are enhanced by an elastomeric handle and the balanced low mass (3.8 kg).
