It’s difficult for African children to understand ”A for apple” since apple is a rare thing in Africa. Therefore, we try to abandon the European way for learning language and use local things as examples for the alphabets, to provoke a stronger sense of emotional resonance amongst African children and increase their sense of pride to their own culture.
