BookHarbor / Public education service

BookHarbor
BookHarbor

BookHarbor is a machine for people to use their idle books to exchange their interested books. BookHarbor has four major components: 49 boxes with a book in them, one empty box, a screen, and a storage. It will be installed in public areas, which enables everyone to try this new way of sharing knowledge. Moreover, we design an assistive application that provides users with more convenient functions and increase the interaction between users. By designing BookHarbor, we want to help the people who cannot afford the huge cost of book resources, and hope our users can use limited resources to gather infinite knowledge.
