FLD / Peace Research Approach

Facilitative Listening Design (FLD) is a groundbreaking community-based action research approach that not only gathers information, but brings people and groups together around important issues. FLD is being used for conflict transformation between groups at odds with each other, with marginalised groups to provide a space for their voices to be heard and to connect them with mainstream groups to share their perceptions, and with people to challenge their own biases and discrimination they may have in relation to "the Other". FLD has been implemented in numerous contexts since 2017 across Cambodia and throughout the Mekong Region.
