OMNIA – a future health assessment system / Health Assessment System for Mass-casualties

OMNIA – a future health assessment system
OMNIA – a future health assessment system

Omnia is a new time-saving health-assessment system for first-responders. It is designed to assist in mass casualty incidents, where the effectiveness of collaboration between paramedics, police and firefighters can decide over a patient’s life or death.

Omnia speeds up the process of prioritizing patients, also known as “triaging”, by utilizing non-contact vital sign measuring camera-technology and making the assessment process more accessible for all first-responders. By gaining information at an early point, the system allows first-responder groups that are on their way to the incident, as well as the hospital, to prepare ahead of time.
