McKinsey Design contributed with the design of the next-generation wearable eye tracker to analyze human behavior. Built for measuring attention in any real-world scenario and getting unbiased insights more easily, these glasses allow researchers to capture real-world data in the retail, factory, medical, lab, and motion environments. In over 16 months, the design team performed several user studies, created prototype iterations, and explored ways to ensure that advanced embedded micro-technology complies with ergonomic requirements. To adapt the glasses to new users, the design team developed a friendlier aesthetic for multiple use cases.
