SEASHELL - for underwater noise and oil spills

Ocean underwater noise pollution and oil spills have caused great damage on the marine ecology, with a side effect on human's food, education and economy. With the technology of active noise control and vortex generator, SEASHELL robots placing on the shipping lanes is a combined solution of two pollutions. For normal use, they use solar power and control noise from ships. When an oil spill emergency happens, they will move to the spot immediately and clean the spills before the rescue teams come. Oil bags will be released and filled with oil, floating to the sea once they are full.
