Malala Desk / Graduable Cardboard Desk

Malala Desk
Malala Desk

"I would love to have my own desk" Mayisive Dume,6.

The Malala desk sets arrive flat-packed in a 38”x32”x20” box designed to minimize shipping costs. The desk consists of four prisms folded from die-cut sheets of corrugated cardboard. Once folded, the prisms slot into one another creating a light-weight and strong structure.

The desk grows with the child, due to the trapezoidal shape of the legs. This design helps them to have a neutral back position while working. It can be built and unbuilt in a few seconds, in order to be used in the school and also at home. The faces of the cardboard are printed with value-based education purposes.
