LifeWorm / Marine rescue concept

LifeWorm

LifeWorm is a project whose aim is to help rescue teams save migrant people from their capsized boats and preventing them from drowning in the sea. During bad weather conditions rescue teams cannot bring their jet skis close to the boats because they are in danger of colliding or even sinking.

Made from nylon and a floating skeleton which deploys thanks to two jet skis that carry its ends around the boat, the LifeWorm surrounds it and creates an inflatable platform where the jet skis can approach without the danger of sinking and on the other hand becomes a floating surface where the migrants can take refuge until they can be rescued
