wrap shit up! / consumer products

wrap shit up!

By recycling conventional packaging materials as a key design feature of the Wrap Shit Up! collection, Valentin Koller's work, philosophically as well as practically, deals with the consumer behaviour of our time. A reuse of packaging materials in a new, aesthetic context, after their original use, shows that materials can be defined as waste as well as raw material, depending on their ascribed use. The design of the collection deliberately focuses on the use of plastic in the packaging sector in order to encourage viewers to consciously deal with materiality, especially in the areas of e-commerce, delivery services and consumer products.
