This solution was designed to solve the problem of underground aqueducts (kariz) becoming drier. The location of the solution is in Turpan Basin, Xinjiang Province, China. In the middle of the unit, MOF materials and wind power are used to condense water and supply it to the kariz, taking advantage of the large temperature difference between day and night in the Turpan area. There is a folding groundwater replenisher at the top of the device to ensure water collection from the air.

This is a great initiative with wide application due to increasing water shortages. The rebirth of the kariz has a technical foundation that reinforces the concept.
