07:25 are special eyewear frames that use wood alongside titanium. Wood is not typically used for glasses. It is low in strength, which makes it fragile, and its low elasticity makes it difficult to remove lenses. The titanium frames of 07:25 are designed to support its wooden body, based on the craftsmanship of Fukui, the Japanese town famed for its eyewear manufacturing. With the aid of laser cutting technology, the operating procedure could be simplified. It allowed the frames to be produced for 60% less cost than other wooden frame glasses, where the lenses are not replaceable.
