The methodical, geometric Bauhaus forms inspire designer Serge Cornelissen. His designs showcase maximum reduction with a clear nod to architectural structures. MICK, designed by Cornelissen for Wever and Ducré, is a masterpiece of precisely worked edges and surfaces. "MICK is a polished gemstone. The exact facets are its soul," said Cornelissen. The elegant luminaire shines in matt black or white from walls and ceilings. Form is the key to Serge and Robert Cornelissen's designs. "If it is well thought out and coherent, aspects like color or material are secondary," said the designers. We can only agree.
