GREEN GIRLS PROJECT / Clean energy for every African woman and girl

The Green Girls Organisation trains women and girls in African rural communities on how to generate clean energy from the sun and waste. The women and girls are trained on how to use and maintain the solar kits that will provide them with electricity.

They are also trained on how to construct and maintain the biodigester that provides them with clean cooking fuel.

Since 2015, 3772 girls and 700 women have been trained across 44 African villages impacting 3 African countries: Cameroon, Central African Republic, and DRC Congo. 3060 rural households have been provided with biogas and 300 solar installations have been carried out.
