Volunteers for Sustainable Development (VSD) has profiled over 50 women and youth groups in the Bawku West District who are in need of technologies which will contribute to livelihoods improvement initiatives. One such technology is the solar dryer which will enhance the market value of farm produce and improve profits.
One of the barriers to their access to technologies such as the solar dryers is the lack of skills in the operation and maintenance of the solar dryers after acquisition.
