Grupos niños en duelo. / Grieving children groups.

Children are grouped according to ages and they are coordinated by two psychologists. Our meetings have four moments: a welcoming, an activity focused on bereavement, a free play moment and a final round together with their caregiver. Activities consist mainly of games, arts, music, movement, readings and dialogue, which allows children to reconnect with their own feelings in a safe environment. Meeting with others who are going through the same experience helps foster solidarity, reduces feelings of loneliness and anger, and has restorative effects. Working in groups with professional aid helps prevent future psychological damage.
