Since 2009, the training centre for rural youths ran by Redar Peru promotes inclusive education in Huari-Ancash.
Through learning by doing, the project values the traditional know-how related to food and agriculture to then combine it with up-to-date knowledge that gives teenagers the skills that can make them changemakers of their community, while respecting Mother Earth. Our goal is to give them a chance to live a decent life starting from the sustainable use of local biodiversity.
Counteracting Covid-19 we are working on e-learning classes that can reach out to our students and can be scalable in the mid term to other rural areas of Peru.
