First step, big minds / Preschool for refugee children

CRP youth and education programs reach hundreds of children from refugee families living in the urban environment of Amman. Children are the future of all societies and without access to the first steps of getting an education, they miss out on being able to move into regular schooling. We serve the very youngest in a preschool that opened in November 2019. This preschool has 22 Syrian and Iraqi refugee children aged 3-6. These children's parents are also enrolled in many courses that CRP offers and by being able to drop their younger family members into organised classes, the parents can learn basic skills to provide for their families.
