Messages to the City / Digital PSAs to address COVID

Messages to the City

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit New York, Poster House was the first museum to close its doors for the protection of its staff & visitors. But posters have a long history of educating and rallying the public during health crises, be that the polio epidemic of the 1950s, Spanish Flu in the 1910s, or the AIDS crisis in the 1980s. So Poster House teamed up with Print Magazine to reach out to 20 incredible designers to create digital PSAs addressing safety tips and support for frontline workers, and secured contributions of over 2,000 screens from outdoor advertisers so these messages could be seen all over the city to help and uplift New Yorkers
