Window view on the table / Reconstruction of broken porcelain

Window view on the table
Window view on the table

This is a project for the reconstruction of broken porcelain, and extending the traditional process of repairing with modern digital printing technology. Under the interlacing of straight lines and arcs from the pattern of traditional Taiwanese iron grille, we turn original non-degradable broken porcelain into something unique. Taiwanese tradition teaches us to cherish. In the process of repairing, we appreciates the imperfections in life and find traces of beauty from what we had seen in childhood.
