Door-2-Door tree planting was designed to increase public awareness about impending dangers of deforestation, as well as mobilize communities for aggressive tree planting and nurturing. The program was aimed to provide requisite training to tree fellers and bring stakeholders together on a round table to develop more positive approaches to combating deforestation and climate change impacts. The project can be replicated in vulnerable parts of Nigeria based on agreed selection criteria. It is expected to influence attitudinal change and inculcate a culture of tree planting in communities.over 1000 trees was planted in rural-urban communities.
