Reduce maternal, newborn and child mortality in a remote rural area of Vietnam, improving commune and district health services and enhancing equitable access of a wide diversity of ethnic groups (the most vulnerable people, particularly women). In 2019, 1675 villagers (963 female) joined 59 Community Score Card meetings to evaluate the quality of public health services and propose changes. As a result, detailed joint action plans have been agreed to improve services engaging the active participation of most vulnerable citizens, health practitioners and local authorities. Action is facilitated by local grassroots Civil Society Organizations.
