FC Shakhtar has been running the ‘Come On, Let’s Play!’ project since 2013. The project is aimed at the development of grassroots football in Ukraine, promoting a healthy lifestyle, social inclusion and personal educational development. Today it includes 66 football playgrounds in 34 different cities of Ukraine, including 8 locations at the frontline close to the conflict zone.The project had 4500 participants in 2019. The participants are mainly boys and girls aged 7 to 12, including kids with disabilities - deaf, Down syndrome, autism and cerebral palsy. Free football sessions are held 3 times per week with all necessary equipment.
