Linha Vermelha I Red Line / Education for climate justice

National awareness campaign to stop fracking in Portugal. We target non-activists to bring awareness about the negative impacts of fossil fuels and to self-organize to pressure government to stop fracking, through two different axes:
Red Line knitting sessions in community spaces, elderly centres and fairs
Communication workshops in schools to create videos, comics, etc, about climate change
This facilitates the interaction between general population and "climate activists", involving thousands of people on the climate change topic who would not otherwise be involved. The strong visual component of the red line also generates press coverage.
