Forest fires are extremely destructive and spread rapidly, making response and rescue both difficult and dangerous. Once a fire is out of control, the only option is to drop water or other extinguishing liquids from the air. However, helicopters are very limited in the amount of water they can carry. It would be far more efficient to let the helicopter transport a medium for water delivery rather than the water itself. In this design concept, the water pipes form a net-like shape in order to spray water evenly over a large area, thus increasing the extinguishing efficiency.
