In the long run, the climate and climatic zones in different geological periods are changing over time. If we take the temperature as a sign, we can see that in the history of the earth's evolution, the global temperature has risen and fallen sharply. Glaciers used to cover not only polar regions and high latitudes, but also middle and low latitudes, where glaciers could be widely developed. This is called the glacial age. The inter-glacial age is the period when the climate is relatively warm. During the Great Ice Age, the climate is not always the same cold, and there are still cold and warm changes from time to time.
