Home appliances tend to be discarded when they are broken. But if they have integrated craft techniques, they can be repaired with added value, and handed down to the next generation. In this project, sewing is implemented for assembling a speaker so that it will be disassembled and repaired. Not only that, but the thread is also conductive and it gives a new function, a dimmer switch. By rotating a part, the sewed conductive thread is adjusted to different levels of contact and this caused voltage variation. A microcomputer can calculate how much voltage it produces and the volume of the sound can be changed depending on the voltage.
