Flare / Firefighter Communication

Flare

Forest firefighters play an integral role of extinguishing forest fires and preserving nature. Flare provides necessary tools to navigate the often harsh terrain, stay informed of essential data, and remain in contact with each other. Its features include a walkie talkie, adjustable flashlight, a health monitor system that tracks the carrying individual’s heart rate, body temperature, and hydration, and an SOS signal to alert to nearby members or back to headquarters of needs of rescue. Its screen shows a GPS map, surrounding topography, and wind direction and speed, and location of other firefighters.
