Toys of India is a product based system design which aims to rejuvenate the dying craft of wooden toy-making in Varanasi, India. The design addresses the issues that the traditional toy makers face by providing them designs for new toys and recycled wood to help the practitioners sustain their business and work with them to keep our cultural heritage alive. Toys of India consists of a range of products which utilises the art of Indian traditional wooden toys in new designs which are educational, ergonomic, modern and carefully crafted to suit the needs of the user.
