Air pollution causes approximately 780,000 premature deaths each year in Africa. Most of the deaths due to poor air quality are caused by particulate matter from sandstorms in the Sahara Desert. Children living in areas with severe air pollution face a bigger risk of pneumonia. Sandstorms cleaner is a ventilation system driven by wind forces. It makes muddy air go through the filter to become fresh air indoors. Ventilation could be done without opening windows, so children and illnesses can have a clean and healthy air environment without any sand and dust.
