Mycotank / Industrial kneepad


Mycotank is a tangible design pursuing a sustainable and responsible production method.
From our research, we learned that budget concerns and poor user maintenance led to a high demand of kneepad. In the current market, the primary components of
a kneepad consists of polymers, which is another factor that depletes fossil fuel.
To solve these problems, we use biodegradable padding material, mycelium mixers, which contributes to soil purification after disposal. For durability, the paddings are covered by up-cycled house wrap.
An improvement in protective gear will stimulate the construction industry to make their practices more sustainable.
