More than 4.8million tons of papers are being wasted from a coffee business every single year. Resulting a consumption of 6.5million trees and 4billion gallons of water. Other problem is that only 4% of them are being recycled due to a difficult process and requiring quite considerable amount of resources. Still, recycling is a proper solution for life on land. But reducing the consumption at the first place is much better than that. As package takes up to 40% of total waste being produced, we decided to delete that part. We designed a cup sleeve that has a carrier function as well. And we succeeded to decrease the use of papers up to 61%.
