Homey Project / Shelter for Homeless

Homey Project
Homey Project

The Team Homey Project offers a solution to the feelings of insecurity that homeless people may have when trying to sleep in public areas. The primary material used in the construction of our Paper Capsule is kraft paper. The design of the Paper Capsule was inspired by the shell of the hermit crab. The Paper Capsule weighs about 3 kilograms. It is expands and folds easily, and usable even for the more elderly among the homeless.Paper Capsule Stations would be situated in public areas. At night, homeless people would help themselves to a Capsule, and return it to its place the next morning. This solution preserves the self-respect of the homeless.
